Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. The registered provider must, within 28 days of this condition taking effect, provide written confirmation of the systems and the processes in place at Ivy Homecare Limited to:
a. Assess service user’s care and treatment needs and to create person-centred care plans with service users and/or their representative (if the service user lacks capacity).
b. Assess and mitigate the health and safety risks to service users.
c. Mitigate the risks to service users relating to their medicines.
d. Safeguard people from the risk of abuse.
e. Undertake safe recruitment checks.
f. Deploy sufficient numbers staff.
g. Identify any missed or late visits to service users.
h. Receive and act on complaints.
i. Assess, monitor and improve the service, monitor and mitigate risks and maintain accurate and complete records.
j. Notify the Commission of significant events without delay.
2. The registered provider must, within 28 days of this condition taking effect, devise and implement an effective system to ensure that all areas detailed below are reviewed, audited and analysed routinely. The system should show any learning and the audit process must ensure any risks identified have been assessed and mitigated.

b. Medicines management
c. Safeguarding allegations
d. Complaints
e. Staff recruitment
f. Staff deployment and any missed or late visits to service users
g. Notifications
3. The registered provider must submit a report to the Care Quality Commission within 60 days of these conditions taking effect. This report must set out any actions to be taken at Ivy Homecare Limited, as a result of the analysis and audits and thereafter must send this report to the Care Quality Commission on the first Monday of each month. This report must specify timescales for action to be taken and highlight who is responsible to ensure the required improvements are made.
