Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must within 10 days of the imposition of this condition on its registration, and thereafter on the first day of each month, provide Care Quality Commission with a report detailing the results of audits undertaken of the areas specified at a) to c) below at Purely Care, The Old Corner Shop, 26 Cromer Road, Norwich NR6 6LZ. The report should also detail actions taken as a result of the findings, timescales for each action and who will be responsible for completing them.
a) The registered provider must instruct a suitably qualified, skilled and competent person to undertake oversight of medicines management at Purely Care, The Old Corner Shop, 26 Cromer Road, Norwich NR6 6LZ which will include monthly audits for the registered provider. The findings of these audits and actions taken must be included in the report specified at point 1.
b) The registered provider must review care plans for all service users of Purely Care, The Old Corner Shop, 26 Cromer Road, Norwich NR6 6LZ and ensure they are accurate and up to date, with clear guidance for staff on how to support the service user. These must include information about the management of risks to service users, including risks relating to their individual health conditions.
c) The registered provider must review care plans for all service users of Purely Care, The Old Corner Shop, 26 Cromer Road, Norwich NR6 6LZ and ensure they include records relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA), best interests’ decisions and consent.
