Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 27 November 2024 to 12 December 2024. We undertook this assessment of Bradstowe Lodge to check previous breaches of regulation had been met and to review previous enforcement action. We found improvements had been made and there were now effective systems in place to maintain the quality of the service. People were now involved in making decisions about the service and being involved in the local community. People now received person centred care, which they had been involved in developing in line with their choices and preferences. The oversight and governance of the service had improved. Systems and processes in place were effective in identifying shortfalls and these were rectified quickly, and improvements had been made and embedded. Staff felt supported, involved in the service, and they worked as a team. People received information in the way they could understand and had access to health care professionals when needed.
