Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff told us they listened to people's experience so they knew if they were happy. Comments from staff included, "People are happy. People tell us the care is good". When we asked another member of staff how they knew people get good outcomes, they told us, by the, "Enjoying of activities and the engagement with other people".
The service had a process to support people to voice the care and support they wanted and staff actively listened to people's wishes and feedback.
People's views were sought in their first few days and weeks in the home, so they had care and support provided to their individual needs . Comments from relatives included, "After the first week, I was asked how we had got on" and "We have given feedback. He has been seen by District Nurse, G.P. and physio".
