The Registered Provider must ensure staff receive appropriate training and professional development to enable them to deliver care and treatment to service users safely and to an appropriate standard. This training includes but is not limited to induction, mandatory training, safeguarding procedures and correct reporting of incidents, and administration of medicines. A system for recording and monitoring staff training must be developed. Evidence must be in place to demonstrate this from 29 October 2010.
The Registered Provider must ensure that medicines are administered to service users in the correct dosages. This is to ensure service users receive safe and effective treatment. Evidence must be available to demonstrate this from 30 October 2010.

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 60 service users at Riverside Court Care Home.
