Our view of the service
Mus4banj Ltd is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to 23 people at the time of the assessment. We began this assessment on 13 February 2024 and an Inspector visited the service on this date. At our last inspection on 3 April 2023, we identified a breach of Regulation 19 (Fit and proper persons employed) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. This was because the provider had failed to follow safe recruitment procedures. At this assessment we found that further improvement was required and the provider remained in breach of this Regulation. At our last inspection we identified a breach of Regulation 17 (Good governance) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. The provider had not operated effective systems and processes to ensure they assessed and monitored the service. The provider had not shared relevant information with the CQC which is a regulatory requirement. At this assessment we found improvements had been made and the service was no longer in breach of this Regulation. Risk assessments were in place to enable staff to support people safely. Staff received training suitable for their job role. Staff promoted independence while supporting people. Any changes to care planning were communicated with people and the staff team. Care records were reviewed in conjunction with the person. Staff felt valued in their role. The provider had requested feedback from people who used the service. Any feedback was acted upon. The provider had responded to complaints and met with people and their representatives to achieve an outcome.
