Love Life Care is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care for people living in their own homes in the community. The service provides care to older people, those living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. The last rating for this service was Good (published 15 August 2017). We looked at 5 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control, and Equity in experiences and outcomes. People and their relatives were very happy with the service provided and described the staff as kind and caring, and felt they were competent in their roles. Everyone we spoke with was happy with their care and complimentary about the staff supporting them, which illustrated a positive culture that promoted positive experiences for people. Relatives described how staff had a positive impact on their loved ones. People and relatives knew who the management team were as they also carried out visits to people's homes. Communication with people and their relatives was described as good, and we saw regular contact and communication between people, staff and the management team. However, we did find some areas which required improvement such as staff training and processes associated with assessing risk. The management team were responsive to our feedback, and took immediate steps to address the required improvements during the inspection. Following the inspection they provided a detailed action plan. The required improvements had no impact on the care people were receiving.
