Updated 11 November 2024
We had previously undertaken an on-site assessment of Centre Point Dental Practice on 21 May 2024 under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 as part of our regulatory functions. We found the registered provider was not providing safe or well-led care and was in breach of regulations 12 and 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. We undertook a follow up focused assessment on 29 November 2024. This assessment was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to confirm that the practice was now meeting legal requirements. We found the practice had met regulations. The practice had systems to manage risks and infection control procedures followed published guidance. There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. Centre Point Dental Practice is in the London Borough of Camden and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children. The practice had 2 treatment rooms. During the assessment we spoke with the principal dentist, a qualified dental nurse, the receptionist, who was also a practice manager and another practice manager.
