Our view of the service
Blossoms Care home Limited is a residential care home providing accommodation with personal care for up to 22 people. The service provides care to older and younger people, people with dementia, and people with a physical disability. We carried out our on-site assessment on 6 February 2024. At the time of our inspection 22 people were residing at the service. We looked at 14 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Assessing needs; Consent to care and treatment; Independence, choice and control; Equity in access; Shared direction and culture; Capable, compassionate and inclusive leaders; Freedom to speak up; Workforce equality, diversity and inclusion; Governance and assurance; Partnership and communities and Learning improvement and innovation.
People's experience of this service
Risks were not always assessed and mitigated and governence systems were not always effective. People told us the staff were kind and they felt safe at Blossoms Care Home Limited. Staff supported people with independence and supported people to have their health needs met. Staff and leaders worked with external professionals to ensure people’s needs were met.
