Our view of the service
Hallam 24 Healthcare is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people in their own homes. At the time of the assessment 42 people were receiving a service. The service provides support to younger adults and older people, some of whom are living with dementia. We rated this service under our previous methodology on 21 July 2021, where we carried out a focused inspection and rated the service requires improvement. We carried out this assessment on 17 July 2024. We looked at all quality statements in safe, effective, responsive and well led and 1 quality statement in caring. We found the service had made significant improvements across all areas and was meeting the quality statements we assessed and is rated good overall.
People's experience of this service
All the people and relatives spoken with gave us positive feedback about the service, staff and the care provided. Comments included, “I'm very safe.” “We get on well together and staff are good.” “The carers do my medication; they are very good.” “I always get the same care staff, they know me well and are very good.” Relatives told us they were kept fully informed about their family member’s wellbeing. People were treated as individuals and their views sought and listened to. Comments included, “The carer is brilliant, they go above and beyond.” “Always on time [staff], stay for the allotted time and do everything we ask.”
