Responsive
People received person centred care, and were involved in their care planning.

Person-centred Care
People told us they felt their care was person centred and met their needs. People were involved in reviewing their care needs and updating the assessments. One person said, " We were involved in the care plan and there have been updates.” Another person said, “I do have a care plan, it is in another room but I am able to access it. I know what is in it and it is updated from time to time.”
Staff understood people’s rights to make choices and to consent to the support being offered. People were able to choose the gender of staff completing personal care tasks. Staff told us they felt the care and support offered was person centred. One staff member told us, “We provide the best possible quality of care. I also find the management listen to me when I make suggestions about a client’s care or suggest we need extra time or two-handed care because a client’s needs have changed”
