Our view of the service
Eastfield Nursing Home is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 52 older people who may be living with dementia or a physical disability. We carried out our on-site assessment on 22 and 23 April; off site assessment activity started on 26 April 2024 and ended on 10 May 2024. During this assessment we looked at how people were kept safe by effective staffing and a safe environment. How people were cared for and offered choice and control, and how people received person centred care. We also reviewed the governance, management, and learning of the provider. The rating at our last inspection, carried out under our old methodology was on 6 December 2022 where two key areas were inspected and were rated good. At this assessment the rating remains the same.
