Responsive
People received care in a personalised way, care and support needs were planned with people to meet their specific needs. The staff we spoke with showed a good understanding of people's needs, and information in the care plans supported this.

Person-centred Care
There was evidence people had advocates where required to represent their interests and support their involvement in their care. A relative told us how they had raised an issue and staff had arranged for a health care professional to come and discuss it with them and their loved one.
Senior staff told us how they involved people and their families in the care planning process, care plans were then reviewed monthly with input from people and relatives and where needed updated. Staff were then updated on any changes via the daily handover.
Throughout our onsite visit we saw staff understood people's needs and preferences and how to respond to them.
