Our view of the service

Juniper House Residential Care Home is a care home which provides accommodation with personal care for up to 60 people. At the time of our assessment 50 people were living at the service. This assessment took place between 25 November and 17 December 2024. We undertook the assessment in response to concerns about medicines management and the quality of care. During this assessment, we did not identify any concerns regarding the quality of care. People and their relatives spoke positively about their experience of living at Juniper House Residential Care Home and the staff that supported them. Overall medicines were managed well; however, we identified some concerns regarding missing and incorrect information in relation to medicines which the provider took immediate action to address.

People's experience of this service

People spoke positively about the care and support provided at Juniper House. Comments included, “This place is our saviour”, “I really enjoy it here, I am included in everything” and “Perfection, absolute perfection”.
