Our view of the service
Date of assessment 17 April to 26 April 2024. Oakley Lodge (57) Is a care home. The service provides support to up to 3 people living with a learning disability or autistic people. We looked at 7 quality statements during this assessment. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it.
People's experience of this service
People were supported to be independent and make their own choices and decisions. Relatives told us they thought their loved ones were safe and well supported. Relatives had positive relationships with the staff team and told us staff kept them up to date of any changes or concerns
